So many snapshots of mum that I hold dearly here are a few: The smell of estee lauder youth dew used to make me sneeze, I'd tease her and tell her she had sprayed the whole house before we set off in a mock coughing fit, and always the hairbrush would come out, even to pop to the shop. I'd duck and try and avoid mine being brushed. Another was me thinking I was the luckiest little girl in the world, mum would give me a cake book and tell me to pick whatever I wanted and she would make it without fail perfectly for my birthday every year. I particularly loved dougal from the magic roundabout but also the attention to detail when making my graduation cake complete with iced scroll was the norm.I have certainly inherited my love of shoes and the need to accessorize whatever I'm wearing. I used to love to dress up in her clothes feeling so glamorous with all her jewellery draped around and clip cloping in heels around the garden, my poor retriever shane didn't enjoy it so much. She instilled a love of the water in me, we had so many happy memories in wales, playing in rock pools, drawing pictures in the sand and walking the dog for miles and miles. thank you mum for those special memories xxx
